The Objective News Agency

The Objective is an independent news agency covering Black news in Nova Scotia, founded by investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker Tunde Balogun. After graduating from the journalism program at the University of King's College, Tunde and fellow graduate Sandra Hannebohm set out to cover news that the traditional media miss. After months of planning and interviews, they launched the first of four investigations into issues affecting the Black community.
