The Only New Years Resolution That Will Impact Your Future!

As we all know, we start the new year with traditions. Below are some of the traditions we all do locally in Canada and all around the globe;
1. Popping champagne with friends
2. Watching the ball drop
3. Many would have a “Ol’school Scotian Party” Meaning a Major Black DJ would put on a NYE celebration for all those over 25 at a pricey hotel.
4. Kissing their significant
5. Singing a special song

Remember it is a good opportunity to commence fresh with a clean slate and create new plans plus your goals.

This is a great time to form goals via those resolutions and actually stick to them. The best resolution you should make on New Year’s Eve and this is number one (1), is to pay down your debt. This is the most important thing you can do for your future and I am going to take the lead.

Of course you want health and happiness and everybody wants everybody to have that but in terms of taking care of your family and yourself, paying down your debt is the number one (1)

If you want to find financial freedom, you need to retire all debt and yes that includes your mortgage, student loan, small personal loans from friends etc.

To get started, we should all create a plan to make principal payments to pay down debt and tackling your credit card debt first because that’s generally our debt we are paying our highest interest rates on. For example, the average card APR is over 17.21 percent, according to CreditCards.com

New Year’s Eve, you look at your credit card and you say to it, ‘I’m paying off your balance buddy, and I’m going to do that before July. Make that a New Year’s resolution.

You will thank yourself wonderfully for that, believe me. It will make you way better off in the back end of the year. Leave old resolutions back on 2018 and below. Focus to the best and number one (1) new year resolution I just mentioned here. "Pay of your debt"

But what about those who are making a lot of money in our community i.e. Sobeys Family, Mrs. Candace Thomas and or Major Corporate Lawyers and they are millionaires and are debt-free? What kind of financial resolutions could some of them with much knowledge and cash flow set for themselves? Here’s my New Year’s resolution they might have, "They want to make more money next year than what they made this year.” Yes ofcourse they do!
