About

An Examination of the Psychosocial and Sociocultural Factors Affecting Women of African Descent and their Engagement in Physical Activity. If you are a 1st or 2nd generation African woman in Canada, you may be eligible for this study.


We are looking to recruit participants who are willing to talk about their understanding of Physcial Activity and Exercise, and cultural values and practices. You can participate in this study if you are:

- 18 years and older
- A 1st generation Black African woman who has lived in canada for 18 years and more.
- A 2nd generation African woman with at least 1 Black African parent
