It was very important to spend time with the people closest to the issue when considering why unemployment rates among ANS youth are disproportionately higher compared to our white counterparts. The Project Team's time spent listening to, learning from and working with young Black folks is greatly appreciated.
Thank you to EVERYONE who participated in big and small ways during this first part of our very important journey. And a special thank you to Donica Willis, the young African Nova Scotian Graphic Designer who brought life and colour to the report. It was such a blessing to work with vendors from our community at all stages!
Thanks again from the ANS Youth Lab Project Team!
